Definitions
NFC team
The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of the two conferences of the National Football League (NFL). The NFC was created
after the NFL merged with the American Football League (AFL) in 1970. While all of the former AFL teams along with the NFL's
Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Colts formed the American Football Conference (AFC), the remaining 13 NFL teams formed the NFC. 'Team' refers to the team
that calls the Super Bowl coin toss. The toss is called by the NFC representative in even numbered Super Bowls and by the AFC representative
in odd numbered Super Bowls.
