Well, if you take my personal experience... I own 12 pairs of jeans. Two pairs are in the never going to fit in again, but can't throw away. Four pair are for getting dirty in. Four pair are they fit really good and can be worn out at night. The other two pair fit a little loose and have no holes or tears in them, so they can be worn to work on casual Friday. I also have a pair of denim overalls, but that is another story. The odd thing is with the exception of the odd casual Friday 90% of my clothed time I am either in dress pants or my underwear.
